PAS Blog - Its what's for dinner

Back in the saddle again!
March 16th, 2010 5:57 AM

I have safely returned from Washington, DC refreshed and ready to go!

I continue to test and develop new software/hardware configurations to help speed up the appraisal process, improving efficiency and accuracy all at the same time!  Once I get it figured out I'll show you how it works.

Keep your eyes peeled, as new staff announcements will be posted soon.

Another day, another opportunity to serve
March 1st, 2010 5:36 AM

Today is Monday.  Maybe I'm the luckiest guy alive because I actually look forward to office time.  Tons of houses to see this week and a light industrial property to schedule for next week.  Business is booming and I am anxious to get both of my new apprentices up and running.  We have been discussing which areas we want to extend services to, and I am fairly certain that we will be adding Roane County, WV to the list of areas covered out of the Parkersburg office.  As we open our new office in the Kanawha Valley, our new coverage areas will likely include Pleasants, Wood, Ritchie, Wirt, Calhoun, Jackson, Roane, Mason, Kanawha, Putnam, Cabell, Wayne, Lincoln, and Boone Counties in West Virginia.  Soon thereafter, perhaps after the first of the year, we will add Tyler, Wetzel, Logan and Mingo Counties to the service area with a goal of eventually providing local service to all counties in West Virginia, plus the peripheral counties in surrounding states.

Are you presently a licensed appraiser, working as a one-man show?  We would love to talk to you about becoming a staff appraiser for Precision Appraisal Service.  Our goal is to provide outstanding service to our beloved state in a manner that is consistent, competent, ethical and efficient, all while providing our appraisers with a stable work environment, employment benefits, and new opportunities for income growth.  If you're interested, please contact me at Ricechex75@aol.com to set up an interview.  We're stronger if we stand together as a team than we are alone.

Precision Appraisal Service is also looking to hire office assistants for the Mid-Ohio Valley and Kanawha Valley regions.  Applicants will need to have a strong understanding of real estate valuations and be computer literate.  Experience with Microsoft Office and Wintotal software is absolutely necessary. Contact me at Ricechex75@aol.com if you are interested and want to learn more.

Say hello to the new me!
February 24th, 2010 9:18 PM

Precision Appraisal Service 2.0 (aka PAS Vista) is being rolled out with improved web site functionality, including improvements to online ordering, payment and file delivery.  The launch of the new web site comes much to the joy of my beloved wife and children, who have been widowed and orphaned these past few weeks by my obsessive dedication to work.  We have a little vacation time coming up in a few weeks, so at least my wife will get to spend some time with me as we tour the sights of Washington, DC over the weekend of March 13.  Those of you seeking to plunder my home while I'm away, be warned that we will be entrusting the safety of our home, children and all possessions to the watchful eye of our guard dachshund.  Don't be fooled by the manic wagging of her tail...she's a killin' machine!  Far better than leaving them in the hands of this guy:

Daniel

In the coming days and weeks you should check back frequently to see what's new with Precision Appraisal Service and our sister company PAS Education Network

PAS Education Network is busy training the bright minds of students wishing to enter the appraisal profession as apprentices and in a few weeks the 50-hour Certified Residential upgrade program will begin for Licensed Residential appraisers who wish to upgrade their license. Click here to visit our site for more information on class offerings.

Exciting new hardware and software integrations are being tested in an effort to improve productivity and appraiser-client communication.  Can you imagine being able to order and receive an appraisal in less than 24 hours?  That may be a reality soon.  Soon you may also see some new faces, as Precision Appraisal Service prepares to expand its primary service area in an effort to keep up with the demand for quality, professional appraisal services.
